Our Chaplaincy Services are a sanctuary of solace and comfort. Headed by our Chaplaincy team, we are here to help you or your loved one navigate challenging times.

Rossmoyne Waters places great importance on the healthy development of the mental, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of all residents, staff and their families of all faiths and walks of life. This is a vital aspect of enabling people to live fully.

The Chaplaincy team is an integral part of that philosophy.

The ethos of Chaplaincy is best summed up in the words of Penelope Wilcock: “To be present, but not intrusive; to keep people company, but on their journey, not ours; to be authentically oneself, yet to know how to efface oneself.” The Chaplains aim to do so with warmth, compassion, and humour.

Adventist Care understands the profound impact on the residents’ well-being, specifically their emotional and spiritual health. This is why our Chaplains offer:

  • One-on-one confidential support
  • A trained, listening ear
  • End-of-life planning, comfort, and support
  • Regular worship and Bible studies
  • Social, emotional, and spiritual support

Our dedicated chaplains are here to guide you in an environment that radiates love, understanding, and healing. They are present to accompany you on your journey through:

  • Life transitions
  • Grief and Loss
  • Loneliness or isolation
  • Hurt and disappointment
  • Death and dying
  • Faith challenges
  • Conflict Resolution
